ABOUT

For over 400 years, more than 35 million men, women and children were the victims of the tragic transatlantic slave trade, one of the darkest chapters in human history. This tragedy also included the British Overseas Territories, such as Bermuda.

In order to honor the victims, this is a resource for people to learn about African Bermuda Enslavement History within the African Diaspora Heritage Trail context, and learn about their contributions, and stories of heroism to our history. We can not change the past but we can learn from it to make a better future.
